The CES Approach
At CES we believe in a simple concept; “Visibility is the key to knowledge.” Through monitoring and logging of electrical usage, business and home owners can finally see what electrical issues plague their machinery, office equipment, phone systems, entertainment systems and the multitudes of other electronic devices found throughout our day and age. Our approach is based on that simple concept. We use state-of-the-art instruments to monitor and log electrical services looking for anomalous activities. Simply stated, we look for fluctuations in service; relate those to environmental events such as employee activity or after hour’s equipment operations. We then help develop a strategy to minimize or eliminate such events.
Audit Services:
- Energy Evaluation – Consists of “Time-of-Use” and “on-demand” logging statistics. Focus is primarily upon pattern based electrical usage over time which could be used as an operating cost analysis tool.
- On/Off cycles of lighting and machinery
- Run-time data for machinery
- Failure-rate analysis
Logging Services:
- Power Quality (PQ) – Focuses on electrical occurrences continuously up-to 45 days with an emphasis on the adverse effects of all unknown electrical phenomenon.
Circuit Evaluations:
- Identification of existing wiring structures for use in regulatory compliance. CES prides itself on helping customers meet National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance requirements.
- Circuit location tracing and labeling services for compliance documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Identification of current/potential code violations
- Workplace safety considerations
Warranty Analysis & Verification:
- Can help to identify root-cause of hardware malfunction resulting from facility-based electrical inconsistencies. This kind of malfunction is often miss-diagnosed as product failure which can results in unnecessary reoccurring maintenance costs.
